Interlinx, LLC has released the BudgetLife® Expert Quoting System for life insurance agents. The Expert Quoting System uses insurance company underwriting guides to present an agent's Web site clients with the lowest life insurance rates for which they qualify. "Most Web sites selling life insurance ask the client to guess at his or her underwriting class in order to obtain instant quotes," says Terry Burt, President of Interlinx, LLC. "The problem is that each company uses a different set of rules for weight, health, or family history to determine a client's underwriting class. Clients end up dissatisfied because they received inaccurate quotes from the agent's Web site. We solved this problem by programming each company's underwriting rules right into the software."

According to Mr. Burt, clients who have received accurate quotes are twice as likely to purchase life insurance as those who have received inaccurate quotes. "It is clear from using this software to generate leads for over a year that agents have increased their sales and client satisfaction, while reducing their wasted time."

BudgetLife® uses the Compulife® database of 150 term life insurance companies to locate the lowest rates for a client's specified age and gender. The Expert Quoting System then presents a short list of questions to select the rates for which the client qualifies. "We decided that the time was right to make this software available for agents to incorporate into their Web sites," Mr. Burt says. "We have fine tuned it over a year of generating leads, and both consumers and agents are ready for a more sophisticated tool."
